Tesla was robbed!
Ang and I have been fans of House for a while. Kind of like what ER used to be, I can’t really keep up with the medical jargon, but the pacing is usually entertaining and the character development is near perfect.
Last night cemented it for me though. On a chalkboard through most of the show was the statement “Tesla was robbed!”. None of the characters obviously wrote it, it was just there. There was also a reference to Schrödinger’s cat. Just beautiful. I’m sure, like the medical jargon, that went right over most people’s heads but there was a group of us that had a good chortle.

Tesla’s on my brain lately because I’m (slowly) making my way through Wizard, a biography of Tesla. Fascinating guy. It’s truly amazing how many inventions we use in our life that he’s responsible for. Edison gets all the credit but he was a hack. As with most things, Edison was better at commercializing and marketing his product. Tesla was the genius but too eccentric.

Tesla was also mentioned on Eureka as one of the few people in history who were touched by the artifact.
Yeah, I saw that too, big fan of House and been reading little bits about Tesla here and there lately. I would imagine his appearance in the film “The Prestige” was entirely fictional, but it was entertaining none the less! True, he was robbed in his own time, but perhaps history has granted him a “cult status” not shared by Edison!
Oh, and I’m actually of no relation to the previous commenter, just a coincidence I guess!
I knew I wasn’t the only person that got the “Tesla was robbed” reference.
Tesla was just pay back for all the other folks Croatian have stolen from. Criminals, all of them.

wtf are u talking about, I think I know a little more about Tesla then you and Croatian didnt steal anything from him or anyone else for that matter. We are proud of him just like serbs and like the entire humanity should be. To quote Tesla “I am proud of my Serbian origin and my Croatian homeland”. Think about that nazi prick
